Popular Lake Elsinore Neighborhoods

Canyon Hills

A master-planned community located west of Canyon Lake in the foothills of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Hills was developed by Pardee Homes, with five neighborhoods offering affordable single family residences that start from the low $300,000s.

Canyon Hills also boasts more than 900 acres of natural open space, where residents can hike scenic trails that wind through the landscape. Other amenities include two recreation centers for the exclusive use of residents, featuring a clubhouse, swimming pools, tennis courts, basketballs courts, picnic areas, and children’s playgrounds.

Canyon Lake

Canyon Lake to the east of Lake Elsinore has a unique distinction: it’s both a gated community and a city. Originally a master-planned community, Canyon Lake was incorporated as a city in 1990, and is only one of five gated cities in the state of California.

Named for the nearby Canyon Lake Reservoir, the community has over 4,800 lots, featuring a wide selection of real estate options that range from single-family residences to townhomes and condos, to executive homes and waterfront properties.

Amenities for residents include the Canyon Lake Country Club with its 18-hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson, as well as numerous parks and beaches that feature swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, children’s playgrounds, and picnic areas. There’s also the Happy Camp Campground, Equestrian Center, and Canyon Lake itself, which offers fishing, boating, waterskiing, and wakeboarding.

Rosetta Canyon

Located along State Route 74 just to the east of Interstate 15 is the planned community of Rosetta Canyon. Offering single-family residences on spacious lots that are neatly laid out on gently curving landscaped streets with cul-de-sacs, Rosetta Canyon homes enjoy picturesque surroundings.

Nearby is Rosetta Canyon Community Park, a 23-acre park with blooming trellises, a baseball field, tennis courts, basketball courts, children’s playground, picnic areas, and a dog park. Also located within the community is Earl Warren Elementary School.

Tuscany Hills

Tuscany Hills is a master-planned community high on top of the hills above Lake Elsinore and Canyon Lake. Inspired by the Tuscany region in Italy, the streets in this community have Italian names, and even the lovely single-family residences have exteriors with Tuscan design influences.

Homes are neatly laid out on gently sloping tree-lined streets with cul-de-sacs, and have breathtaking views of Canyon Lake below and the San Bernardino Mountains in the distance. Residents enjoy amenities that include a clubhouse and recreation center with swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court, and children’s playground. Tuscany Hills Park with its ball fields and picnic areas is located towards the northern end of the community, right beside Tuscany Hills Elementary School.
