Named for the three lakes within it that residents use for fishing, boating, and kayaking, the gated community of the Lakes is bounded on the north by Newport Road, on the west by Menifee Road, on the south by Holland Road, and on the east by Briggs Road, with main access through Newport Road to Menifee Road or Laguna Vista Drive.
Single-family residences are the housing of choice in The Lakes, with a variety of plans and architectural styles from different builders. Amenities for residents include The Bay Club, which features two swimming pools, a fitness center, spa, waterslides, grill and patio area, as well as community parks and walking paths.
McCall Canyon is a planned residential development located along McCall Boulevard, right across the Menifee Valley Medical Center. Offering a wide selection of single-family homes in different styles with open floor plans, McCall Canyon’s winding streets loop back into each other, and provide lovely views of the surrounding hills.
At the very end of the community is McCall Canyon Park, which features a children’s playground, a couple of basketball courts, and jogging paths.
Named for the 25-acre lake that’s right near the entrance, Heritage Lake is a master-planned community that’s located along McCall Boulevard, with the main accessway through Heritage Lake Drive. Single-family homes with Spanish, French Country, or Traditional Italian design influences are neatly laid out through the winding landscaped streets with cul-de-sacs.
Residents can enjoy fishing or paddle boating on the lake, as well as community amenities that include a resort-style clubhouse, swimming pool, basketball courts, baseball & soccer fields, along with numerous parks and children’s playgrounds. There’s also an extensive trail that winds through the community and around the lake, which is ideal for walking, jogging, or biking.
Located near the central part of Menifee where Interstate 215 intersects with Newport Road is the master-planned community of Menifee Lakes. It is one of the older established neighborhoods in Menifee, with development starting as far back as the late 1980s, and is a mix of residential and 55+ active adult communities surrounding a golf course and 17-acre lake.
Many of the single-family residences have Spanish and Mediterranean design influences, and are nicely laid out on winding streets with occasional cul-de-sacs. Numerous amenities for residents make it a joy to live in Menifee Lakes.
